Meet Eva
Psychologist | Creative

Welcome, I’m Eva!
My life has never followed a straight line. It's been a winding path through psychology, the arts, education, motherhood, travel, community work and a lifelong fascination with what makes the world tick. I've never really fit neatly into a box, unless I was hiding in one to avoid small talk at a party.
As a psychologist for almost twenty years, I've had the privilege of supporting people through anxiety, life transitions, trauma, self-doubt and personal growth. Psychology has taught me how patterns form, how stories shape us, and how healing takes place within safe and attuned relationships.
What I noticed over the years is that many of us have become incredibly skilled at understanding ourselves. We know how crazy our childhood was, we can name our attachment style from an online quiz, and we can describe and label every diagnosis from the Internet. Insight alone however is not the destination. And while psychology may help us land at these insights, we are not meant to live on the landing pad.
I like to go beyond the question of: "Why am I like this?" to "What would it look like to fully express who I am?" For me, this is what being a creative is. Throughout my life, alongside psychology, I've nurtured a parallel life as an artist, musician and performer. That path has included exhibitions, public art installations, music recordings, stage performances and writing. Creativity has taught me things that psychology alone never could, such as courage, uncertainty, self-expression, showing up before you feel ready, and creating something meaningful without knowing how it will be received.
Importantly, creativity has taught me that we are not here simply to heal, but we are here to participate, contribute, and create, in our own unique ways.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of psychology, creativity and authentic living.
Whether through counselling, workshops, writing, speaking, music or art, I am passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves—not through endless self-improvement, but through deeper self-expression. Ultimately, becoming more of yourself is probably the most healing thing you will ever do.
Let the beauty we love be what we do. Rumi
